Lake Forest, Orange County
Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park covers about 2,500 acres of oak canyons and chaparral on the northeast side of Lake Forest, with a trail to the red sandstone cliffs of Red Rock Canyon. In town, Heritage Hill Historical Park preserves four early buildings, including the Serrano Adobe of 1863 and the one-room El Toro schoolhouse.
